The Kidd Electric is an indie/rock band with a distinct twist of rockabilly influence, creating a unique sound that occasionally veers into spooky, atmospheric territory, especially in their guitar riffs. Formed over a decade ago, the band has evolved both in name and lineup, with the current members being Cyn Electric (Singer), Matthew Hopf (Drummer), Daniel Balboa (Guitarist), and Angel Montes de Oca (Guitarist).

Drawing inspiration from a diverse array of artists like Mother Mother, Cleft, Moving Units, Metric, Arctic Monkeys, and Juanes, The Kidd Electric crafts music that’s as eclectic as it is personal. Their debut EP, Sonic Bloom, released in April 2024, has already garnered over 11k streams, marking a significant milestone for the band.

Under their previous name, they’ve graced stages at iconic venues like Vans Warped Tour Vegas, The Whiskey A Go Go, and The Viper Room, and even had the honor of opening for No Doubt. Their growing recognition includes features in local newspapers, magazines, and radio airplay on both the East Coast and in London.
